An 18-year-old inmate escaped the Division of Youth Corrections' custody in the Lone Tree area, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. Jacob Beckstead escaped about 2 p.m. while he was being transported in the area of C-470 and South Quebec Street, the Sheriff's Office said.
